SUMMARY: Jihlava notch up important win, Plzeň stay six points clear

The weekend saw some important and interesting matches. In addition to the battle at the top of the table, there were also important matches towards the bottom of the table.
The 20th round of the SYNOT liga kicked off with four matches on Saturday. Brno handed Zlín their fourth defeat of the spring season while Bohemians walked away with a 1:1 draw against Teplice.
Saturday also saw the clash between struggling clubs Jihlava and Olomouc, with Jihlava emerging victorious thanks to two goals from Petr Hronek. Boleslav were in form as they beat Slavia 2:1.
Liberec could have taken advantage of the slip up by Slavia, but they could only manage a goalless draw against opponents Slovácko.
Ostrava in their match against Dukla took the lead, but the guests managed to turn things around to emerge 2:1 victors.
Sparta found themselves 1:0 down in their match against Jablonec thanks to a goal from Greguš, but Lafata levelled the score before the break for the Prague side. The goal marked his 170th goal in the history of the SYNOT liga. When the match seemed to be heading for a draw, Lukáš Vácha grabbed the winner for Sparta, leaving them trailing Plzeň by six points but with a game in hand.In the last match on Sunday, Plzeň thrashed Příbram 4:0.
