SUMMARY: Plzeň and Sparta win, Baník notch up unexpected victory

The 24th round of the SYNOT liga saw some interesting matches on the Weekend of Fathers. A round of goals saw no real change in the standings in the league.
Brno recorded an important win as they beat Bohemians 2:1 to move closer to fifth place Slavia. Slavia could only manage a goalless draw against Jablonec and are still fifth in the league, five points behind Liberec.
Liberec lie only one point behind third place Boleslav after their 2:1 win over Olomouc. Boleslav dropped points against Dukla, wakling away with a 2:2 draw.
On Saturday, Ostrava notched up a surprising win as they beat Slovácko 2:1. Jihlava recorded a valuable three points as they beat Teplice 2:1, thanks to goals from Tomáš Kučera and Lukáš Vaculík.
In their match against Plzeň, Zlín surprisingly took the lead in the first-half through Tomáš Poznar. However, the second-half saw Plzeň fight back with goals from Milan Petržela and Ondřej Vaněk. Plzeň are now nine points clear of Sparta at the top of the table.The gap at the top of the talbe could have been bigger. Sparta found themselves 1:0 down against Příbram in 3rd minute of the game, but managed to turn things around, running out 2:1 winners.
