SUMMARY: Plzeň one step closer to title as they beat Sparta

Viktoria Plzeň took one step closer to the title as they beat Sparta 3:0, leaving them only needing a point to be crowned champions. Sparta are still second in the table, five points ahead of Boleslav.
Plzeň opened the scoring in 11th minute with a penalty from Ondřej Vaněk. Sparta had the chance to equalise from the penalty spot in the first-half, but Bořek Dočkal was unable to convert. In the second-half, Plzeň added two more through Michael Krmenčík.
Viktoria have now beaten Sparta four times in a
row and notched up their fifteenth win in a row.
Sixth place Brno beat Příbram 2:0 to move within two points of fifth place Slavia. Both goals came in the second-half from Michal Škoda and Jakub Řezníček. The result leaves Příbram only three points clear of Olomouc, who are currently second from bottom.
Dukla snatched a win out of the hands of Zlín with a goal in the last minute of the game to draw the match 2:2. Zlín have now failed to win in nine matches during the spring season.
On Saturday, Bohemians 1905 beat Jihlava 2:1 to virtually guarantee them a place in top flight competition this season. Bottom of the table Ostrava went down 2:0 to Liberec and look like beign relegated this season for sure.
Slavia complicated their chances of competing in the Europa liga next season as they drew 2:2 with Liberec. Boleslav consolidated their third place position in the table as they beat Olomouc 4:1.
